Where ever you decide to purchase from be wary of upsell; software packages and/or accessories, like anti-virus, that are either unnecessary or over priced. It is very rare that you save money buy purchasing these items at the same time. So, if you are unsure if you need something or not, simply don't purchase. Then if at a later date you find you do need it purchase it at that point.    ...It's not a good deal if you don't need it.

Refurbished Notebooks

If considering a budget notebook, please consider talking to BCC IT Support as cheaper notebooks rarely allow for upgrading and can often have disappointing and a short practical lifespan. A refurbished notebook can perform as well as a new high-end one and can be found at a fraction of the cost of a new low-end laptop.  We are happy to support our parents and students with current recommendation and purchasing advice when considering a refurbished notebook.
